Today, you can produce great photos with your phone—and fast! However, as with any form of photography or art, it’s not the technology but the soul that makes the difference. No technology can compensate for poor artistry, but strong can overcome subpar equipment or limited technical know-how.

In this category, I combine fashion and influencer photography, blending high editorial standards with the freedom of social media. Why? Because these two worlds increasingly influence each other. Influencers want to look like they belong in Vouge, while editorials aim to capture the aesthetic of influencers or even everyday posts.

This is also an open and adventurous category. The possibilities are endless, and the boundaries are meant to be pushed further. If you want to stand out among the 1.3 billion new photos shared daily, it’s wise to think outside the box and go beyond conventional limits. Yet, often, it’s the simplest things that leaves the greatest impression. Simple and great, however, doesn’t come easily.
